ENSUITES FOR EVERY BEDROOM

Every bedroom at Lawn Road Retreat has an ensuite. Just another reason why this wonderful accommodation is perfect for large groups. In all there are ten bathrooms including an accessible bathroom. Bedrooms two and three (pictured here) share an ensuite. All other bedrooms have their own ensuite.

SEVERAL LOUNGES

Lawn Road Retreat has several lounges to choose from. Whether it’s to share a wine together at the end of the day after a few games of tennis or some time around the pool or sneak away and curl up with a book – the different spaces ensure there’s something for everyone.

ACCESSIBLE

It is important to us at Lawn Road Retreat that the property holds no physical limitations with regard to access. We have ramps so that all downstairs living areas can be easily accessed. There is also an accessible bathroom and bedroom.

PRIVATE GARDENS

Each of the downstairs bedrooms has a private garden area with wonderful sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The beds are super comfy too.

OUTDOOR ENTERTAINING AREAS

Lawn Road Retreat has several outdoor entertaining areas. Pictured is the covered outdoor entertaining area. This is a great space for friends and family to share a meal together and enjoy the good things in life – good food, wine and most importantly being together. There are screens to protect from the sun, wind and rain so this space can be enjoyed whatever the weather.

EIGHT SMART TV’S & NETFLIX

There are smart TV’s in each of the main living areas and some additional smaller lounges. Four of the bedrooms have them too. So if you feel like snuggling up in front of a good movie during your stay you’ll have absolutely no problem and plenty of options to choose from.

INDOOR / OUTDOOR FLOW

With bifold doors everywhere it is hard to know where the indoor area finishes and the outdoor area starts. Just perfect for entertaining. There are lots of areas both inside and out where you can take yourself off for some quiet time too – perhaps to enjoy a coffee or to have a moment and just ‘be’ and bask in the wonderful surrounds.

TWO KITCHENS

Lawn Road Retreat has two fully equipped kitchens. The main kitchen area (pictured) has two ovens, two dishwashers, two fridges and two sinks so you definitely won’t be falling over each other during food prep. There are two washing machines at the property too so plenty of facilities for all.

MULTIPLE LIVING AREAS

There really is plenty of space for all at Lawn Road Retreat. Pictured is the second kitchen/ living area. This kitchen too is fully equipped with an oven, cooktop, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

  • Lawn Road Retreat exceeded our expectations when we stayed for the Hawke’s Bay marathon event this year. So much so that we immediately booked it again for next year. It’s rare to find a holiday home of such high quality and we all felt instantly at home in the many welcoming and comfortable spaces. So much so that we chose to eat in instead of going out to dinner! The owners had thought of everything and it was a real bonus to have fresh eggs from their chooks. We only whished that we could have stayed for longer. Looking forward to next May already!

    Plenty of room for all, multiple living areas and wonderful outdoor entertainment space with fireplace.
    The pool and spa were both a welcome relief after our day on the bikes. We loved the free range chickens too.
