A two night minimum stay all year except:

  • A three night minimum stay on weekends from Oct – April and all public holidays.
  • A four night minimum stay in January, Waitangi Weekend and Easter
  • A five night minimum stay over Christmas and New Year

Cancellation Policy: If a booking is cancelled 90 days from the booking commencement date no refund of the deposit is given. If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days from the commencement date of stay the full price for the stay is payable and non refundable. In the case of a cancellation, we will try our utmost to replace the booking and if successful, monies received will be fully repaid subject to a replacement full rental booking to the same value or greater. If the replacement rental is for less than the original rental value, the value of  the replacement rental will be refunded.  This cancellation policy does not apply if the country goes into lockdown and guests are unable to honor their bookings for this reason.

  • Lawn Road Retreat exceeded our expectations when we stayed for the Hawke’s Bay marathon event this year. So much so that we immediately booked it again for next year. It’s rare to find a holiday home of such high quality and we all felt instantly at home in the many welcoming and comfortable spaces. So much so that we chose to eat in instead of going out to dinner! The owners had thought of everything and it was a real bonus to have fresh eggs from their chooks. We only whished that we could have stayed for longer. Looking forward to next May already!
