Centrally located between Cape Kidnappers, Hastings and Napier, Lawn Road Retreat provides a wonderful base for golf groups. The sublime accommodation with up to nine ensuite bedrooms ensure there’s plenty of space for all. Add to that the wonderful features on offer like the hot tub and spacious entertaining areas and you have the perfect environment to relax and wind down together after a day on the greens.

CYCLING HOLIDAYS

If you’re planning a cycling trip with your friends and family, we think Lawn Road Retreat’s location will suit you perfectly. The cycle path is a quick 5 minute cycle from the house and wineries like Black Barn, Craggy Range, Elephant Hill and Clearview are in close proximity. Add to that the fact that Havelock North and Napier are in cycling distance from the house and you have a match made in heaven!

Lawn Road Retreat is the perfect place for team building stays. With with wonderful accommodation on offer providing up to nine ensuite bedrooms and a wide range of wonderful activities both on site and off, as well as the outstanding features, this investment in your staff is sure to be rewarded many times over.

SPORTS / SCHOOL GROUPS

We love having our sports groups and school groups stay. With the wonderful accommodation, the abundance of space and large number of bathrooms available, not to mention all of the activities and features on offer Lawn Road Retreat works perfectly for sports groups. We can sleep 20 singles and do offer packages for longer stays in winter. Please contact Pen for more information.

CATERING

Many of our guests organise a chef to come and cook for them during their stay. If this is of interest we are happy to recommend chefs/caterers who have worked at Lawn Road Retreat. We only recommend those that have worked at Lawn Road Retreat before and who have had excellent feedback.

  • Lawn Road Retreat exceeded our expectations when we stayed for the Hawke’s Bay marathon event this year. So much so that we immediately booked it again for next year. It’s rare to find a holiday home of such high quality and we all felt instantly at home in the many welcoming and comfortable spaces. So much so that we chose to eat in instead of going out to dinner! The owners had thought of everything and it was a real bonus to have fresh eggs from their chooks. We only whished that we could have stayed for longer. Looking forward to next May already!

    Plenty of room for all, multiple living areas and wonderful outdoor entertainment space with fireplace.
    The pool and spa were both a welcome relief after our day on the bikes. We loved the free range chickens too.
